After Care with Pick Up from Local Schools
This convenient after care option is available to students who attend:
- Hampstead Hill Academy (HHA)
- Patterson Park Public Charter School (PPPCS)
- NEW! Wolfe Street Academy (WSA)
Students are also most welcome to register for Extracurricular Activities at TNCS.
TNCS offers students from HHA, PPPCS, and WSA a fun and enriching After Care Program in a safe and supportive environment.

After Care: Small Groups Focused on Exploration
At TNCS, we believe that learning should be fun. Mixed-age groups of children explore a range of topics in an active child-centered environment. Activities vary by season. Examples of regular After Care activities include:
- Music and dance
- Arts and crafts
- Board games and puzzles
- Imagination playground (gym)
- Playground games and activities
- Homework time (grades 3 and up)
2026–2027 Pricing: After Care with Pick Up
Quarterly enrollment in the After Care program is based on the number of days attending and chosen pick up time. Prices include transportation from either HHA or PPPCS to TNCS. Parents are responsible for picking up their children from TNCS in Fell’s Point by their chosen time (5:00 pm or 6:00 pm).

How do I register?

Does registering guarantee my child a spot?
Yes. Once you complete registration and payment, your child’s spot is confirmed—there’s no separate approval or waitlist step. All families must submit required paperwork before their child’s first day.
What are the program dates?
Registration is on a quarterly basis, with dates as follows:
- Q1: 9/2/2026 – 11/3/2026
- Q2: 11/4/2026 – 1/22/2027
- Q3: 1/25/2027 – 4/7/2027
- Q4: 4/8/2027 – 6/8/2027
NOTE: There are six total days over the course of the school year when City Schools are in session but TNCS does not have after care available because TNCS is closed or has scheduled PDD. Please take note of these days:

How much does the program cost?
Pricing is calculated quarterly and is based on the number of days attending and chosen pick up time. Prices include van transportation from either HHA or PPPCS to TNCS. Parents are responsible for picking up their children from TNCS in Fell’s Point by their chosen time (5:00 pm or 6:00 pm).

Are payment plans available?
Yes, when you register for the full year, payment plans are available. Payment is split into four installments of 25% each: the first is due at registration, with the remaining three billed on fixed dates over the school year (see below for the schedule). Quarterly registrations are billed in full at the time of registration.

What should I know about pick up from Wolfe Street Academy (WSA)?
Wolfe Street Academy is new to the After Care with Pick Up program for 2026–2027. WSA has a separate registration with limited spots available.
Because WSA is just a short walk from TNCS’s Ann Street campus, WSA students walk to campus with TNCS staff. On occasion—such as early release days or poor weather—TNCS may pick up WSA students by van instead. Staff will always ensure a safe, supervised transition from WSA to TNCS.
Does TNCS pick up PPPCS students at early dismissal on Wednesdays?
Yes. PPPCS students enrolled on Wednesday are picked up at PPPCS’s early dismissal time. When you register by the day, a $7/day supplemental fee applies. There are no supplemental fees when you register for “All Five Days.”
What about early release days for HHA and WSA students?
City Schools have four scheduled early release days this school year, and TNCS will pick up HHA and WSA students early on three of those four days. Early release days with pick up include: Th, 10/15/2026; Fri, 10/23/2026; and Thu, 3/25/2027. Note that Fri, 1/15/2027 is also an early release day, but there is no pick up or after care that day as TNCS is closed for professional development.
When you register for after care by the day, a $20/day supplemental fee applies. There are no supplemental fees when you register for “All Five Days.”
What paperwork do I need to provide?
Before your child can begin the program, you’ll need to review and update paperwork in Transparent Classroom. New families will receive a link to Transparent Classroom after they register.

Need Care on Wednesdays? We have extra spaces available on Wednesdays only, since we do two school pick-ups that day. If you’d like Wednesday care, just choose your child’s school below and add it to your cart. After registering, you will receive an invitation to Transparent Classroom, where you’ll need to complete the required forms before your child can attend.
