All preschool applicants are required to attend a 30-minute student shadow to experience a classroom at TNCS. During this time, teachers will assess the child’s readiness and gauge their learning style.

Step 4: Admissions Decision

TNCS priority enrollment for all eligible students and applicants goes first to returning students, then to siblings of current students and siblings of newly admitted elementary students. Preferential consideration may be given to full-day applicants in preschool programs. Length of time in the waiting pool of applicants is also considered, although TNCS does not fill spots based on a strictly first-come, first-served basis. Preschool students receive priority consideration for kindergarten; however, enrollment is not guaranteed, and current students must apply for admission to kindergarten.

Admissions decisions for the 2019–2020 school year will be communicated by March 1, 2019.
