A Message from the Head of School

Greetings Everyone,

It is with great joy that I invite you to experience community with The New Century School. Here, you will meet a diversity of learners who, like you, seek to build strong, positive relationships through real world learning adventures in language, culture, ideas, and innovation. Our multilingual, progressive, independent program prioritizes the personhood, learning style, and interests of the individual. Thus, all who call TNCS home understand the beauty of diversity and strive for the inclusivity which can only be born out of our core values: Courage, Compassion, Service, and Respect.

Each day, our students meaningfully engage academic content with peers while guided by their teachers. This Montessori inspired approach allows students to discover the joy of learning while exercising and fortifying their executive functioning skills. From 2 years through 8th grade, TNCS students, and their families, partner with administrators, faculty, and staff to nurture a love for learning, a love for the environment, and a love for humanity.

Thank you for taking a moment to learn more about TNCS! I have much to share with you, and I look forward to all that you have to share with TNCS. I hope you will join us for any one of our upcoming events this year and take the opportunity to introduce yourself. Until then, I am available to answer questions you may have or give you a tour of our campus. I can’t wait to get to know you!

In Community,
Erika Hall Johnson
