Back for the 2024–2025 school year, TNCS is again running quality After Care programs for Pre-K to 8th Grade students who attend local schools. This program includes transportation to TNCS.
After Care with Pick Up from HHA & PPPCS!
This convenient After Care option is available to students who attend:
- Hampstead Hill Academy (HHA)
- Patterson Park Public Charter School (PPPCS)
Students are also most welcome to register for Extracurricular Activities at TNCS.
TNCS offers students from HHA and PPPCS a fun and enriching After Care Program in a safe and supportive environment.
A Qualified, Caring After School Staff
Led by TNCS’s After Care Director, our extended care staff comprises a talented team of unique individuals.

- Staff develop activities that provide enriching, enjoyable experiences for children in the After Care program.
After Care: Small Groups Focused on Exploration
At TNCS, we believe that learning should be fun. Mixed-age groups of children explore a range of topics in an active child-centered environment. Activities vary by season. Examples of regular After Care activities include:
- Music and dance
- Arts and crafts
- Board games and puzzles
- Imagination playground (gym)
- Playground games and activities
- Homework time (grades 3 and up)

After Care Mission
Our After Care mission is to provide a culturally enriching program that promotes the physical, emotional, and social development of each child and that meets the highest quality child care standards.
Pricing: After Care with Pick Up
Quarterly enrollment in the After Care program is based on the number of days attending and chosen pick up time. Prices include transportation from either HHA or PPPCS to TNCS. Parents are responsible for picking up their children from TNCS in Fell’s Point by their chosen time (5:00 pm or 6:00 pm).

Savings on All Five Days (Mon – Fri)
Register for full-time After Care (Monday to Friday) and save big on your registration. It’s like getting five days of care for the price of four!
*Notes & Supplemental Fees
- There are no supplemental fees when you register for All Five Days (Mon – Fri).
- PPPCS students enrolled on Wednesday will be picked up at PPPCS’s early dismissal time, $7/day supplemental fee applies.
- HHA students enrolled on 3-hr early release days will be picked up early, $20/day supplemental fee applies; early release days include: Th, 10/17/2024; Tu, 10/29/24; and Fri, 3/28/2025.
- Note that there is no TNCS After Care or pickup on the following days that BCPS is in session, as TNCS is closed or has scheduled PDD: Mon, 10/14/2024; Mon, 11/11/2024; Fri, 12/20/2024; Fri, 1/17/2025.
- After registering, you will be asked to submit additional forms and paperwork.
