Welcome! We invite you to get acquainted with TNCS through this and our other website pages. We offer a multilingual, individualized education in a nurturing environment. As you will see, our strong community is built on academic rigor, constructive energy, and mutual respect.

TNCS was founded by forward-thinking, conscientious parents who recognize that providing the best possible education for their children should include key aspects commonly missing from school curricula:

  • Modern world language learning
  • Progressiveness and innovation
  • Personalization
  • Focus on the Arts
  • Global citizenship focusing on our core values of compassion, courage, respect, and service

Our caring, multitalented staff is integral to our success. Each educator and administrator makes a special contribution to this thriving scholastic community. Appropriately, they have the freedom to use their particular skills to keep TNCS students happy, healthy, and engaged in learning.

We believe that education continues throughout life. While here, children cultivate the natural intellectual curiosity and ability to think critically that will ensure they are lifelong learners.

We welcome you to visit us and to see first-hand how we help students thrive.

We are thrilled that you are interested in learning more about TNCS, a diverse school with an international population of students and staff. Above all, we are committed to providing each child the opportunity to become an independent, secure, and balanced human being. Our four pillars of the developing learner, also known as our Core Values, are: Compassion, Courage, Respect, and Service.

Our Preprimary Program, for children ages 2–3, centers on complete language immersion. Lead and assistant teachers speak exclusively in either Mandarin Chinese or Spanish. Immersion in the target language allows preprimary-aged children to develop comprehension, perfect pitch and pronunciation, and fluency. Our Primary Program, for children ages 3–5, follows a Montessori curriculum, stressing choice, learning from peers, and the cultivation of concentration.

Schoolwide, education is inquiry based. As children progress to our Elementary Program and Middle School, they engage in small, mixed-age classes, technology, arts, and hands-on science. Our curricula challenge students in critical disciplines while providing them a secure environment in which to safely mature.

Our multicultural and multilingual approach helps students become world-aware, compassionate global citizens.

We sincerely invite you to come and see for yourself how our innovative school can awaken the love of learning in your child and help your child become his or her best self.
